Bloodlines chronicles the 2003 medical mission of the Philippine Medical Society of Northern California (PMSNC). Volunteer doctors, nurses and support staff travel to Iloilo, a province in central Philippines, to serve an impoverished community that lacks access to basic healthcare. Working with limited time and resources, the volunteers struggle to meet the needs of thousands of patients, experiencing moments of inspiration and heartbreaking choices along the way.

Tribu granted the filmmakers the rights to use the 1995 album, …Ang Karugtong, as the soundtrack for Bloodlines.
Tribu is a collaboration between Noy and Ginji Pillora, a Filipino husband and Israeli wife duo. Noy is a former member of the legendary filipino band, Asin.

is an original Filipino music inspired with a variation of musical forms
from the northern and southern tribes of the Philippine Archipelago. It
is trying to create a synthesis between the existing Filipino cultures
by combining the musical elements of both cultures. This album opens you
to a diversified musical instrumentation. Some were adopted from the tribes
such as the kulintang, faglong gong, kuling and other indigenous instrumentations
